35 Years of CAD Development

CadWare was founded in 1989 with a clear mission: developing professional Computer Aided Design software. Over more than three decades, we have evolved from building proprietary CAD products for the market to becoming a specialized partner for companies that need custom CAD application development.

This evolution wasn’t a change of direction — it was a natural progression. The deep technical expertise we built creating our own CAD systems is exactly what enables us to develop high-quality custom solutions for our clients today.

Our Journey

In the early years, CadWare developed and marketed its own CAD products — including PJ2 CAD System and BlueCAD — which were adopted by professionals across Europe and used in projects such as the New European Parliament and the National Library of France. These products earned recognition from IBM, who selected CadWare as an International Vendor Logo Agreement partner in 1996.

Building on this foundation, we later created BlueSol, a complete photovoltaic system design application that combined 3D modeling, shading simulation, and electrical design into a single tool — now sold worldwide. This experience proved that we could deliver not just CAD engines, but full vertical applications for specific industries.

Over the past 15 years, our focus has shifted to leveraging the Eyeshot modeling engine as our core development platform, building a comprehensive library of proprietary extensions and delivering custom 3D applications for industrial clients across multiple sectors.
